We would like to acknowledge the huge contribution that David Franklin, who passed away on 19 January 2023, made to the organisation of this race for many years. He will be greatly missed.

For many years, Baltonsborough Royal British Legion has kindly donated a perpetual cup for the first male and female in the five mile race, as well as providing the vouchers for the junior race.

​

Kay and David Franklin have donated the "Franklin cup" which  is awarded each year to the fastest team of 4 people who are not attached to a running club - contact the race organiser for details on eligible teams.

 

Other sponsors include the Train Station, Burns the Bread, Tesco, Baltonsborough Parish Council and St. Anne’s House, Millfield School.

 

We would also like to acknowledge the help provided by Wells City Harriers before, during and after the races, as well as the many time/record keepers, marshals, sweepers and others who always turn out to assist.
